History
One of two teams created in 2008 at Saint-François-Xavier to help prepare students for the FIRST Robotics experience, Xabot performed well in their first qualifying tournament. They earned two honours at the Sarnia qualifier, a 2nd place in Robot Design and a 2nd place in Robot Performance. The team finished third overall, narrow missing an opportunity to participate in the Ontario Provincials with their sister team.

- 2009 Transportation in the Chemical Valley: Analysis of a transporation problem particular to our community, a city whose existence depends on the presence of chemical processing plants and border traffic across the Bluewater Bridge.
