History

The RoboRaiders team was started in 1996 at Hillsborough High School in NJ. The team began competing in the FIRST robotics competition in 1996 as Team 56, sponsored by Ethicon. The team joined forces with Ortho Diagnostic Systems in 1997, competing as Team 105 and engineers from said company in 1998. The RoboRaiders have been competing as Team 75 since 1998. Johnson and Johnson Consumer and Personal Products Worldwide became primary sponsor in 1999 and this partnership continues to this day. The original RoboRaiders, is the oldest participating FIRST robotics competition team in New Jersey.
