History

• Team 41 began in 1997, with a team of rookies, but a strong will to win. Over the years, they have gone to nationals several times, won numerous awards, and have matured with the FIRST program over the last decade.

Team projects

• In 2007, Team 41 showed the world what they could do. Although their revolutionary crab drive system wasn't working for the competition, they still claimed the 2007 NJ Regional Judges' Award. This robot not only had a fast and strong drive train, but a unique ramp deployment system that could lift 2 robots 12" off of the ground, and could drive around with both on top robots resting on its eight 4" wheels.
