Team 39, the 39th Aero Squadron, is a robotics team from Gilbert, Arizona. They are sponsored by General Motors Desert Proving Grounds, ITT Technical Institute, Microchip Technology, Inc., Steve Sanghi Family Foundation, FRC Team 991, O.N. Design, and SIMREX Corporation.

History
Team 39 was started in 2006 after team 64 disbanded. 64 split off into teams 39 and team 1013. Since then, the 39th Aero-Squadron has developed into one of the many dominating teams in FIRST, winning two regionals in 2008.
Team projects
Team 39 participates in the NURC (National Underwater Robotics Challenge) competition during the offseason. During this competition, over 25 teams of all age levels compete in a mission-based competition.
