2010 Autodesk Regional Winner

Team 2130 won the Autodesk regional in Portland, Oregon! This is highly due to our robot's autonomous mode, with which we effectively kicked up to three balls from our home postion to the opposing teams home position in every match. After clearing the our home field we quickly cleared the midfield, allowing no soccer balls to enter the opposing teams goals. We are also very thankful to our alliance members. Thank you Team 997 and Team 1515!!! Image: Team_2130_Regional_Winners.JPG

History

Team Alpha+ was started in 2007 by Ed, a science teacher at our local Bonnners Ferry High School(BFHS). In 2007, Team 2130 competed in the Portland Regional and proudly walked home with the Rookie Inspiration Award. During the 2008 Portland Region we watched in dismay as our robot Leo tipped in the quarter-finals. And in 2009 Team Alpha Plus stuggled with penalties taking home only our experience. Now that we are no longer rookies, our team has even higher hopes for the 2010 Competition. Although we started out small, with around 16 members, Team Alpha+ has grown to 30+ students and as a recently labeled veteran team, we plan to dominate this years competition.
