History
RAGE (Robotics And Gadget Engineering) FRC Team 173 has been in existence in one form or another since 1995. The team has had a variety of different names including COBRAS (Coalition Of Businesses, Researchers And Students), The Spirit of '96, RAGE and RAGE II. It has also have been under a variety of different numbers until the 1998 static number decision. RAGE has also been fortunate enough to travel to the Championship Event and has had great success there. In 2002, RAGE was the Championship Event winners, as well as the number one seed in the Newton Division. Overall RAGE has had a very successful 11 years in the FRC Competition, and hopes to do well in the future.
