Team started in 2005 by Robeson Bowmani.
In its rookie year, the team was composed of 15-17 students and 1 faculty advisor.
Last year, the team was called the Nerdz, but this year the name was changed to the Griffitrons, named after the Buckley School mascot, the Griffin.
This year the team will compete in the Las Vegas regional and the Los Angeles regional. They hope to make it to the championship in Atlanta. The team won the Judge's Award last year at the Las Vegas regional.
