History
Phoenix Rising was started at Galileo Magnet High School in 2002-2003. In the team's first year, they competed at the NASA/VCU regional and placed 26th. During the team's second year, they finished 9th in the qualifying matches and were moved up to the 7th seed in the eliminations. Along with teams 623 (Ohm Boyz & Girlz) and 116 (Epsilon Delta), they advanced to the semifinal rounds before being knocked out.
